Bio for Rabbi Ed Rothman

Rabbi Ed is a Messianic Jewish Rabbi (a Jew who believes Jesus/Yeshua is both Lord and the resurrected Messiah). Rabbi Ed was instrumental in starting the first Messianic Congregation in the Twin Cities, and he has been active across the world sharing the good news that the Messiah has come and is alive today. He currently serves the Seed of Abraham congregation in St. Louis Park.

Ed and his wife Alberta's life message has been to encourage the Jewish people to accept Y’shua (Jesus) as the promised Messiah and all New Covenant believers to understand their Olive Tree Connection (the Jewish roots of their faith in Jesus the Messiah). They believe that should inevitably lead the Church to pray for, share their faith with, and to show G-d’s love to the Jewish people and the nation of Israel (Romans 1:16 & chapters 9-11).

Ed will speak to us about the Jewish roots of our faith and take our questions about Judaism, his life and ministry and whatever else we throw at him.
