The Sanctuary service of Crossroads Church launched the Fall Semester of Meal Groups with Scot McKnight. Scot's blog, www.jesuscreed.org, is a resource that is widely-recognized as a significant resource on the New Testament, early Christianity, and the historical Jesus.
We are using his book, Embracing Grace, in our Meal Groups this season.
Scot attended our Meal Group launch and spoke to us about what the "table" meant to Jesus during his time on earth. You can hear his Meal Group launch message here. After the launch he spoke at the Sanctuary service (you can listen to his Sanctuary message here).
Immediately after the service, I drove him back to the airport. He mentioned that he had a great time with us and would post his thought on his blog in a few days. You can read his comments here.
